[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”2\/3″][vc_column_text]The Earthquake Station is situated on the grounds of the former Institute of Geophysics, which belongs today to a church-run youth support organisation named “Jugendhilfe am Rohns”. The site is situated at the upper end of Herzberger Landstra\u00dfe, in the midst of the densely forested Hainberg hill between Rohns and Bismarckstein.<\/p>\n

Bus connection<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you want to travel to the Earthquake Station by bus, please take the bus line 9 up to Rohns. From Rohns, follow Herzberger Landstra\u00dfe out of town until you reach the gate of “Jugendhilfe am Rohns” on the right-hand side after about 1 km. Follow Herzberger Landstra\u00dfe up to Rohns and then further out of town. After a few hundred metres, you will see a large arched gateway, the shared entrance to “Jugendhilfe am Rohns” and the Earthquake Station. About 100 m after driving through the arched gateway, you will reach a large, gravelled forest car park, from where the Earthquake Station and the Gau\u00dfhaus are located at a walking distance of just a few meters.<\/p>\n

Directions from out of town: <\/strong><\/p>\n

Take the A7 up to the exit “G\u00f6ttingen Nord”. Follow the motorway approach road to G\u00f6ttingen. At the first intersection with traffic lights, drive straight on the B27 towards Braunlage\/Herzberg. After about 1 km, leave the urban area of G\u00f6ttingen again. After a few kilometres, turn right at the second traffic lights (towards Herberhausen) and make a sharp right turn shortly thereafter. Follow the road winding up hillside. Once you reach the forest, keep driving for about one kilometre until you see a white, castle-style building in the forest. The access road starts at a large arched gateway. Drive through this shared entrance to “Jugendhilfe am Rohns” and the Earthquake Station.
